Hey Techies, Today I will show you how to block ads without using any third-party apps on Android.
⚙️ Installation ⚙️
Block Ads in Stock Android
Go to:
Settings -> Network and Internet -> Private DNS -> Designated private DNS -> type “dns.adguard.com” and click on Save. As shown in the image above.
Block Ads in MIUI
Go to:
Settings -> Connection & Sharing -> Private DNS -> Private DNS provider hostname -> type “dns.adguard.com” and click on Save. As shown in the image above.
Block Ads in Realme UI
Go to:
Settings -> Other wireless connections -> Private DNS -> Designated private DNS -> type “dns.adguard.com” and click on Save. As shown in the image above.
These Realme UI steps can also be applied on other OS like Oxygen OS, Fun Touch OS, and Color OS.
⚙ Testing ⚙
Your ad(s) will be blocked.
This will block google related ads and others marked as ads in the Adguard DNS server.
To check if DNS is working or not:
1. Visit https://ads-blocker.com/testing/ before applying DNS.
2. Visit https://ads-blocker.com/testing/ after applying DNS and refresh the page.
